Overview

Skip Woods' quirky thriller Thursday comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the soundtracks are both closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include the theatrical trailer and filmographies. USA has released the unrated director's cut of this film, making it worthwhile for fans of this cult favorite. There is little here, though, for the average DVD consumer.

I picked up this movie a few years back on VHS and it was wonderful! Think of it as 'Pulp Fiction- Lite'', though I would argue that parts of this are better than that classic. Not to mention it has the greatest B-movie star of all time, Micky Rourke, playing...? You guessed it, a crooked cop! Thomas Jane of course went on to do a good job in Deep Blue Sea and Aaron Eckhart was likeable enough in Your Friends and Neighbors, but this movie always had me either laughing or yelling ''Whoa!'' and ''Yeah!'' The violence is gratuitous and over the top at times, but that's the way I like it. Definitely buy this movie!
