I bought the digital episode but as soon as I played it I just decided to get the DVD. The art, photographies and all those little details are beautiful. The presentation is just amazing, quite unique and so different of all their previous releases.

This is an excellent Tori concert DVD! The set list is rather subdued, so it's really a gift for her fans. With that being said, the performace is very intense and she draws intensity out of the calmest of situations. The packaging is also very nice, with the hardcover book and documentaries! I am very happy.

This performance is, in a nutshell, why Tori Amos is one of the most amazing musicians in the world. The song choice, the intimate setting, and the small interview interludes whisks the viewer away for an hour of Tori-related wonderment. Even the most casual Tori fans would enjoy watching Tori play some of her most well-known tracks in addition to some more obscure songs. I've never heard "Lust" or "Maybe California" as beautiful as it was performed in the Armory.
That aside, I am pretty disappointed with how B&N has handled themselves in regard to the pre-order and shipping of this DVD. I have multiple international friends (and friends who live Stateside) who pre-ordered the DVD the day it was available back in early June, only to receive not only a delay on the day of the release, but today international fans received a cancellation of their order. Being the exclusive retailer of this product, I expected a little more preparation. I guess I was lucky that I pre-ordered at the store itself; otherwise, I'd probably still be waiting for it like everyone else. People underestimate the Tori fan-base.
As my title states, the DVD itself is beyond wonderful. But B&N's handling of the release and shipping of the product is far below acceptable.
The disc contains (with * next to the ones I found especially beautiful): 1) Ruby through the looking glass 2) China 3) Lust* 4) Concertina 5) Virginia* 6) Black Dove* 7) Wednesday 8) Ophelia* 9) Girl* 10) Bells for Her* 11) Toast 12) Maybe California.
These are solo Tori, although she is playing both piano and a keyboard synth for other instruments. Actually, she would say they are playing her, as she states in one of the in-between-the-songs interviews.
Highly recommended for anyone Agape-For-Tori a.k.a. EWF. Eargasms guaranteed for such folks. Thank You Tori!

Overview
On a cold December 2009 night in New York City, Tori Amos played a private solo concert for one hundred fans at the historic Park Avenue Armory in New York City. "Tori Amos: Live from the Artists Den" captures this once-in-a-lifetime performance featuring both hits and fan favorites spanning the Amos catalog, from her breakthrough 1991 debut "Little Earthquakes" to her acclaimed 2009 album "Abnormally Attracted to Sin" -- including two songs not shown in the television broadcast.
