Each installment follows the same dramatic trajectory, tracing a single crime from occurrence to courtroom sentencing, and focusing on the often multilayered motivations and actions of the many parties involved, from the criminals to the defendants to the plaintiffs. At the center of it all are two characters, DCS Mike Walker (David Hayman) and DCI Roisin Connor (Victoria Smurfit). This particular package features three series episodes -one that involves the death of a toddler, another that witnesses the racially-motivated homicide of a teacher, and a third that involves the death of a political couple in their house. Bonus features include a biography of La Plante, cast filmographies and photo galleries.
