    I Also Recommend:

Excellent anime well worth your time and money

This classic is full of humor, action, emotion and fun. The episodic beginning smoothly transitions into the deeper, darker story arc at the end of the series. It's not just about the action, though there is plenty of it. Trigun, for me, is about the characters. By juxtaposing light humorous moments with the struggle for survival in such a bleak desert landscape, the anime ultimately tells a story about what it means to be human. There is a lot of violence, but not a lot of gore, and given some of the dark themes it wrestles with, I would say this is definitely for teens and up.
