There is an introduction to David Lynch and an interview with Mark Frost, but it is how these features are presented that will thrill any Twin Peaks fan. The graphics integrate beautifully with images from the series and the box set itself offers double foldout packaging, an interview with Sheryl Lee, and a chapter index, as well as info on the story and characters.

Editorial Reviews

Entertainment Weekly - Ken Tucker
Lynch has called Twin Peaks "Peyton Place meets Blue Velvet." It's that and more: It's Mayberry R.F.D. Goes Psycho; Pee-wee's Playhouse Has a Nervous Breakdown; and the first you-really-can't-miss- this show of the '90s.

5 Stars if the pilot was included.

This to me is the only series produced for television, aside from the first 3 seasons of Six Feet Under, that is worth owning. I purchased the 1St season on DVD too long ago to remember. Of which I would rather not watch until I have the complete set. I found it funny that Artisan was shocked not to have made more money on this DVD collection that was released not too long after the VHS collection. News flash, DVD at the time was a new format, and not worth throwing away a brand new VHS collection. Someone please do us a favour and release the rest of the collection on DVD including the pilot.

    What a shame!

I was fascinated by Twin Peeks in the 90's and I'd like to get it ALL. And that's what I mean ALL! With pilot and all the series. I remember that it lasted over months, every week one, why are here only 7? Where is the rest? I don't need a summary in a sequel, I want it just like it was shown in TV. I couldn't see it regularly, for me it's still a mystery, so I'd like to see it just like it was shown. So DO something, I'm sure there are a lot of other people who think the same.

Where is season two on DVD?

I loved watching the series Twin Peaks with all my friends in high school. We followed the show like many people follow their favorite daytime soaps. When they came out with the series on DVD, I was estatic. The only problem is where are all of the other episodes? The DVD collection: Twin Peaks Season One only has 7 episodes. Season one actually has 13 episodes, and there were a total of 29 in all. I'd really like to add the rest to my collection, and I know there are others out there who feel the same. We've been left in limbo!!

Not THE answers, but some kind of answer

I am still waiting for the entire series on DVD. Fire Walk With Me provides some answers but doesn't really answer the big questions, it merely summarizes what happened in the series and what led up to the Laura Palmer business. what happened to Chris Isaak? David Bowie? Does Cooper ever get out of the Black Lodge? Does the dancing dwarf and killer bob and mike find a new place to gather garmonbozia? This series is ripe for a sequel on a decent channel. bravo? IFC?

Please, Bring me back from the dead

This is one of the few works of art from the 90's and it must be preserved for the next generation. The cherry pie, the donuts and the coffee aah the coffee,'Black as a 1000 midnights'. Please post here to petition all the episodes be made into dvd's. Wouldnt you like to unwrap the plastic????

    Twin Peaks

This is far the best series I have ever heard of then seen. The mystery was interesting as Special Agent Cooper tries to piece together the clues to solve the one question that's been on EVERYONE's minds since the show came on in 1990: 'Who killer Laura Palmer?' and then afterwards we are told you did it and are shocked and still love the show including want to watch it more to see what happens next. The show is quite good and a good mystery to watch.

Great Collection but You Need to Buy the Pilot!

The very first epsiode (TV pilot) is NOT included! Do not buy this unless you get the intial 113 min TV pilot or full length (133 min) film video. This collection's first episode begins after Dale Gordon arrives on scene and begins the initial investigation. It really should be called episodes 2-8 since I'd consider the pilot as really epsisode 1.
