    LOVE this silly show!

Every guy wants to be Charlie Harper -- beautiful home, paid too much for doing very little, handsome, commitment-phobic, VERY promiscuous. Therefore, if you have any real respect for women, you may not like this show. But I do, and I like the show anyway! This show is intended to be FUN -- no preaching, no life-lessons, just the misadventures of two brothers struggling to get along with each other and with a cast of funny peripheral characters. Don't over-think it; just kick back, grab beer, popcorn, girlfriend, whatever, and ENJOY the darned thing!

Dysfunctional - but a family nonetheless

What makes this no-holds-barred comedy work for me is that every character - the dueling roommate brothers, the maid, the mother, the ex-wife, even the boy - is, to some extent, a selfish scoundrel. This dysfunctional family certainly ain't the Cosby household. Yet they are a family nonetheless, flaws and all. And their antics can be outlandish.
