    Unforgettable

I cant say enough about this film. In 97 minutes, Kenji Mizoguchi was able to decimate the entire enigma that is human desire. The film is of absolute perfection and is saturated in emotional truths and honesty; a cinematic approach that has yet to be surpassed in my opinion. What makes it stand alone, however, is its brilliant and mesmerizing photography. Certainly, Ugetsu Monogatari is one of the greatest films of all time.
