    Awesome point of view

if you think that seeing world war 2 through the eyes of soldiers, this movie is the exact opposite. You get the experience the war through the jews. It is almost as good as Schindler's list, but it is an awesome movie!!!!!!

    Astonishing movie!!!!!

This movie is so interesting. It shows how people had to live, and how they were treated, during World War 2. There is a LOT of violence in this movie. It's a very sad story.

    True heroics

This movie shows a good impression of the struggle of an oppressed, powerless and already very decimated people, against a heartless, cruel and haughty enemy, in a heroic battle, which lasted more than a month instead of a few days as was expected. It shows also, that the people they lived with for many centuries, didn't lift a finger to help. It's good to see that people who are mostly motivated, can make a difference, even though very temporarely.

    Uprising

I forgot to mention how the filmmakers done a great job at showing how involved the women were in the Uprising. Not much women are given credit to issues such as these.

    Uprising

This movie was an excellent representation of what it might have been like for those who had the courage to rise up against racial injustice. Once the group decided that they could no longer take the injustices, they took a chance and rose up against racial hatred. Uprising is based on some of the actual accounts of their story. For many people of Jewish decent, this film is so much more than just a movie. Many family members were lost and killed, never to be found to this day! Many Jewish people lived through that horrible time in history. The filmmakers done a great job at attempting to tell the story of those who were involved in the uprising. Reading the endnotes was a good closing to this movie. A Great Movie. A must see for everyone.

    Great Movie

This movie touched me so much that it brought tears to my eyes and I never ever cry from watching movies. By the graphic and detailed description of the Wasrsaw Ghetto during World War II, people get a view of the invasion and destruction of the Jews of Poland by the Nazis. It touched me even more that it was a true story because I can't believe that this happened to so many people. This is a great movie and people need to watch it. This is proof that these tragedies truly happened. Now people can stop denying that it never happened.

    Emotional and Touching

This movie was worth much more than 5 stars. I was profoundly touched. The scene when they deported the women and children to Treblinka broke my heart. Though this was a sad story it gives you hope knowing that a group of untrained young people could hold off the Nazis longer than the entire Polish army. Also this movie shows you what the Holocaust was really like for people. This movie was great buy it!
