ValentineDirector: Jamie Blanks, David Boreanaz, Denise Richards, Marley Shelton
The novel of the same name by author Tom Savage becomes this horror film starring Marley Shelton as Kate Davies. Kate's in a troubled relationship with journalist Adam Carr (David Boreanaz), a problem drinker, but she receives support from her best friends, the same four girls she's known since grade school: Paige Prescott (Denise Richards), Dorothy Wheeler (Jessica Capshaw), Lily Voight (Jessica Cauffel), and Shelly Fisher (Katherine Heigl). When Shelly is murdered and the other girls begin receiving gruesome Valentine's Day cards signed "JM," they begin to speculate that the killer could be an awkward schoolmate named Jeremy Melton, whom they once teased mercilessly at a school dance, leading to his beating and humiliation. Dorothy in particular is afraid that a false accusation she made against Jeremy might be causing him to seek bloody retribution, but the macho detective (Fulvio Cecere) assigned to investigate Shelly's murder has some other suspects in mind. As the body count is racked up and Dorothy's lavish Valentine's Day party approaches, Kate begins to suspect that the true identity of Jeremy, who likely underwent plastic surgery to alter his appearance, could hit very close to home. Valentine is the second slasher flick from Urban Legend (1998) director Jamie Blanks.

This is a great horror film. The reason for this being is that the farther you get into the film, the more scary and better it gets. There is also a great cast and a good twist at the end, like every horror film should have. I recommend this movie to anyone that likes horror films with good twists, and an overall great cast.
Who's the k!ller! Adam or Dorothy???
I thought the movie was petty good, mainly because it had a good twist. And the end is not confusing you just have to think about it.
When I first saw this movie, I thought the plot made no sense at all. They had a wonderful cast of young stars who could actually act but the movie itself was not what I expected. I thought it would be a bit more planned out. The end expecially confused me. Who was the killer? Dorthy or Adam? I liked the movie and the fact that it was a bit scary and the excellent cast. Not the movie itself.
Well, if you haven't seen the movie -- then you really need to!! -- then I won't spoil the ending for you. This movie was good, there were a couple of parts that made me cringe in that "oh-man-thats-gotta-hurt" way. David Boreanaz shines through once again as a sweetly evil man. His role as an alcoholic makes it even better because it adds the "i'm-never-far-away-from-being-drunk" dimension to his character. Go David!
This movie features a wonderfully talented cast, but unfortunately they have little to work with. The plot is not only lame, it's confusing as well. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of two was because of the cast, who gave good, watchable performances in spite of the inadequate script.
Great movie, great acting, great storyline, and great twist at the end.
Valentine was a cool movie. I especially liked the young actors/actresses.Though,I can understand in the movie why J.M. wanted to get rid of them. They treated him so wrong when they were young.I highly recommend this movie because it should teach people a lesson on how they should treat others.Better treat them right,'cause if you don't they just might treat you bad too,but in a more brutal way.The bad guy isn't always wrong...But the question still remains:who was the killer? We may never know.
this movie was so cool as well it was so frighten .. well but it is confusing in the end ..u know who is the killer is it adam(david boreanaz) or is it dorthy...but at the end for e i would giv this movie more than 9 stars cause while i was watching as if i was with them in the film so i really congratulate the author for this cool work and offcourse the actors for their cool acting
