This is a pretty good series. It has an interesting story filled with good action and story plot yet each episode is set in the same format, evil enemy pops up, sub-plot envolving friends, Miyu encounters the enemy and defeats enemy. The animation is pretty average but its story and action somehow salvages the anime.

Being a fan of horror vampires and anime, I came upon this show and instantly reminded me of Blood Plus. You have a vampire who's a guardian with help hunt down demon like beings called Shinma and sending them back to the other world while posing as a student. Later I heard there was an OVA series but saw this instead first and have seen the OVA series. Both of these versions are different though I recommend this series more since you have more episodes and the story in a way makes more sense if you keep watching the episodes in order I think.
