If you love any Van Cliburn recordings you will love this one. This was one of his first, if not the first performance Cliburn performed in Russia. I am by no means an authority on Cliburn's music nor on classical music in general, but I do know that this recording is lovely to listen to and anyone with even the most basic knowledge of music will appreciate his deeply moving and inspirational piano playing. It is also exciting to watch as he captivated Russian audiences with his masterful piano playing. I think this is one of the definitive recordings to have in your classical music collection. Glad I bought this one.
