I love all kinds of music and always loved the guitar of Mr. Van Halen but I have to say despite the nicely organized format of this DVD and some great pyro-technics by the guitar genius himself, I find this is the group at thier skeeziest. Drinkin and smoking on stage while they sweat, drip and make funny faces at the crowd and the camera in polyester jump suits. They work really hard but they try too hard to have fun. It's probably great if you're 10 years old. I guess they just hadn't matured yet. This is an old performance when they were just starting the Sammy Hagar era. You just don't feel like they're really focusing on the music. It's more like they're there to impress the kiddies.
