    Much better than I remember

I bought the 1st season vol 1 out of pure nostalgia, as I always do - but I have to actually watch the whole set pretty quickly in order to keep buying the following releases. I got through every one of the sets released in record time and keep wishing for more. this one is as good as the others and it has great story lines, crimes, acting, classic Vegas footage, and of course, the great nostalgia of a 70's childhood.

It's hard to believe I was such a child when this came out and loved it then, and I love it now. So many of these older shows prove that you can have great tv, storylines, crimes, terrific acting, mild violence, and not have to be so overt, so obvious and so adult that you're embarassed to watch it with your parents or kids. I'm so shocked at the great tv shows of today that can't seem to recognize the difference between story related violence/adult scenes/language and pointless shock factor garbage that serves no purpose and makes some shows annoying and unwatchable. Sometimes it belongs, sometimes it is pointless - many of these old crime shows prove how easy it is to tell stories, even crime, gambling, adult stories, without being complete trash.
