    Slap stick Comedy

Since the premise of this show is about a vicar, the brits do what they are best at within comedy - add a little sexual innuendo. For uptight individuals and the puritanical crowd get out your bibles and start praying for the end-of-days, all others enjoy the fun.

    Not what I expected

If you like the TV show as is, you will not like this. There is overt sexual messages as opposed to the cleaver inuendo seen on TV. It doesn't work for this Vicar, who has endeared herself to us for not only her feisty, and very human nature, but foremost for her ability to guide her flock with gentleness and kindness to do the right thing.

    Hang onto your halo!

A small English village is expecting the arrival of the new vicar (church minister) what they get is not what they expected -- for one thing, he's a SHE! Warning, the humor does get earthy at times.
