    A perfect foundation for a beginner . . .

I am a 'newbie' to the Art of Yoga, who has been searching and spending ALOT of time & money to try and find the perfect Yoga workout. Being a busy mom of 2, I don't have the time to travel and take a class. I needed something that I could do in the comfort of my home and still get the benefits of having an instructor there with you. So this was my main concern - 'How do I get this on DVD? An instructor who is willing to take the time to educate, not only the 'technique' but ALSO the 'Art' and 'Spirituality' of Yoga. After a long time I FINALLY feel in my heart that I have found ALL of these qualities in this beautiful DVD. Sean Corne is a wonderful, patient and understanding instructor. She keeps us people in mind whom are NOT flexible and are just starting out in Yoga. Her passion for Yoga is very evident in her interview. The workout has 2 DVD's, both of the same workout but one has verbal instruction and the other with music. I think this one will be perfect once you have mastered the order and alignment of the poses. There is also an in depth interview with Sean Corne which gives you a chance to feel her vibe and also so you can get to know her better. I feel that this workout is not a workout but a time for you to feel yourself in your body. REALLY. You will feel parts of your body you never thought existed. Stretching, standing, toning, breathing. It really is a very, very peaceful and satisfying practice. I hope that this helps in your venture!! :0)

    Relaxing!

At first it was difficult to follow, as I had to watch the tv to know when to switch poses. At the end of the workout, however, you feel wonderful! Relaxed and peaceful and like you've accomplished something. I definitely recommend this DVD for the beginner or somebody just needing to de-stress!

    too slow and overly instructional

This is one of a few yoga DVDs that I am not so thrilled about. I feel that she wastes too much time with instruction. I found it to bee too slow. Maybe if you have never done yoga before it might be ok to use once or twice, but not on a regular basis. I recommend some from Wai Lana. She has DVDs for all levels. Skip Seane Corn.

    wonderful dvd!

This is one of the best yoga videos I've seen, both in instruction and the spiritual aspect of yoga. Sean Corne is very intense but not in an overly "hippy-yoga-new-agey" way. I highly recommend this video.
