I just returned from a trip to Italy and Sicily and wanted to expand my knowledge. The photograpy is excellent and in the same cathegory as the perspective of the Italian Renaisance paintings. The music background adds to the beauty of the images. The quality of the voice of the narrators, both male and female, is not clear, low pitch and distracting to the point of being annoying. I will gladly pay more for a version without these mumbling vocal noises.

Film footage is fantastic. I would rate this higher, but captions are not available on the DVD. The commentary is completely inaccessible to the hearing-impaired.

Narrated and filmed with class and style. The music and narration adds to the soothing, visual experience. If you have the desire to visit Italy and Sicily,it is difficult to not be enticed by the wonders. As a visitor to Italy and Sicily, I am able to fondly relive the experience.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Italy and what better way to immerse ourselves in the beauty of this country. I have seen many travel DVD's but none compare to these aerial views that almost took my breath away.... I highly recommend 'Visions of Italy' to anyone who wishes to visit this country or for anyone to rekindle fond memories of past trips. This is truly a thumb's up DVD.
