Overview

Peter Markle directs John Candy in his last feature film, Wagons East. The movie comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This is a sparse release from Artisan that will be of interest primarily to fans of the late Candy.

I have enjoyed this movie for years with my kids. The slap-stick humor has tickled my crew for the past six years. We've watched it so many times, we are now ordering a second copy! My kids were 10 & 12 when it first came out, and we still watch it together (and they're 16 & 18 now). FUNNY :)
