    ...and the payoff

    It's just as well that "War and Remembrance" ran 12 episodes, because by the time you get to the 'Final Chapter' "this set", you've gotten accustomed to the cast changes. In particular, by this point in the story, Jane Seymour's portrayal of Natalie had started to grow on me. Of particular note is the first half of Part 11, with an emotionally powerful portrayal of what happened to the Jews who were sent to the gas chambers at Auschwitz.

    War and Remembrance 8-12 is not the entire series.

    In order to complete the story, you have to order "War and Remembrance, the epic miniseries". The "War and Remembrance 8-12" does not get you to the end of the mini-series.
