    I Also Recommend:

    Thrilling, Sappy, Sexy.

This movie came out when I was twelve. I saw it mentioned in a magazine and I knew I had to see it. Five years later, I found it in the bargain bin at out local B&N and so I bought it. My sister, friend, and I watched it and when it was over, we just sat there and looked at one another.

It was an amazing show. When it starts out, you're like "what's going on? I don't get it." Then, bit by bit, the plot unravels. As the show nears its end, it has you on the edge of your seat, hardly daring to breathe. Then it ends and you feel like laughing and crying.

On the box, it says "sexy thriller" and that's it exactly. The way the different characters' stories are woven together is astounding. The acting is superb, and it is not without its humorous moments.

Overall, I highly recommend it. There is no other show like it on earth.

    Great plot, bad ending.

I believe it was a great story and a great idea, but, even though one must think that it is about a very dark or even creepy obsession, at the ending, that goes away very easily. Althought the actual final scene must be romantic for most people, it was giving up the so called obsession that might be dissapointing. Stll, it is a good film.

    What we should all have!

How many movies have you watched where you just didn't believe that the leading characters were really in love with each other? From start to the grande finale, you get the feeling, deep inside of you, that the main man is absolutely in love with his leading lady. Honestly, I can't tell you another movie that compares to this.

    [3.5]--Intrusively Over-directed but a good film.

When "arty" direction becomes a distraction, it becomes over-done and that's exactly what happens in this film. It also has enough plot holes to drive a Mac truck through. I’d been meaning to watch this for a while, but the cheesy looking cover and the blurb, made me think it would be weak-plotted but that certainly wasn’t the case. The storyline is composed of flashbacks and that didn't affect my enjoyment of this film, despite its momentary confusion! The beginning didn't satisfy me completely, but I stuck with it. At first glance, it appeared disjointed, vaguely incoherent and kind of hard to follow, but as it went on, it became clear that this might be a film I'd have to maybe watch a second time to appreciate it on the level it actually meant to be appreciated on. This can't be described as a perfect film, but, to anyone who can identify with it will certainly interest you and leave you with a number of angles to view it from. All the cast deliver a great performances. Hartnett is entirely believable as the haunted young man, caught up in a whirlwind of romances that threaten to destroy him, with good support from Matthew Lillard as his snazzy best friend, and Byrne and Kruger providing captivating female parts. Although a romance, it didn't feel soppy, more tense actually (you end up hitting a lot of things while watching), until the final scene-which gives you a real warm fuzzy feeling! In case you want to see the original, reverse to L'Appartement. The original actors are Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci which isn’t bad, they met and fell in love on the set! You may have noticed the name of the restaurant in Wicker Park...no?... it's Bellucci's )

    Awful and Confusing

I really didnt like this movie. I thought it was really hard to follow. I couldnt tell when the things were happening and whos point of view we were seeing it from. Plus I dont think Rose Byrne looked very good in this movie.

    Snoozefest Park

This movie's soundtrack was better than the movie itself. Don't waste your time with this one.

    Great

This movie is the best romantic movie that has come out in a while. The acting was superb. Will keep you on the edge of your seat anxiously waiting for the expected to not happen, but it all leads to a great ending which will leave you in tears
