The second arc of Wiseguy's brilliant first season finds undercover Organized Crime Bureau agent Vincent Terranova (Ken Wahl) on the trail of assassin Roger Lococco (William Russ); a twisting underworld path that leads to crime kingpin Mel Profitt (Kevin Spacey). Complicating Vinnie's pursuit is the brainy, leggy presence of Profitt's formidable sister, Susan, with whom he develops an appropriately complicated relationship. Of course, is not quite as complicated as the relationship between the Profitts -- just one of the delicious twists that made the CBS show such a hit with demanding audiences. Spacey's ferociously hotheaded and heroin-addicted international drugs-and-guns dealer ranks among the most sensational villains ever conjured up on prime-time TV. And it's why this four-DVD set, which includes Spacey's entire 11-episode arc, has been so eagerly anticipated by fans. In addition to the Profitt episodes, this collection includes the stand-alone "Last Rites for Lucci" episode, which linked this second arc with the series-opening Sonny Steelgrave episodes.

This is the absolutely the best TV seties ever created. The writing is superb, and it keeps you totally involved. Of course, it all couldn't work without the perfect casting of these wonderful actors, each and every one being perfect for their roles. I could have watched this story for years.
