I have been watching Mamoru Hosoda like a hawk ever since The Girl Who Leaped Through Time was released! And I do believe it's taking it a bit too far to call him the next Miyazaki, but Hosoda never fails to impress. This movie has stunning visuals, and great casting in both English and Japanese! The story will move you to tears, (well, at least, it moved ME to tears) and the soundtrack is completely breathtaking! You know, I was a bit surprised to see that this movie was being sold at Barnes & Noble! But I'm very happy about it! Anyone who decides to buy this movie is in for a wonderful... Two hours.. I guess..? The story of Hana, raising her two "Ookami Kodomo" is sure to inspire all!

I give the artwork an A+ and the scene where the family runs in the new snow deserves the awards. Watch the color, tree shadows, motion at wolf eye level. Also reflections in water and floors, window glass etc. Appreciate the gardens, mountains and storm clouds.
