Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
Strawberry Shortcake pages through her scrapbook to share two stories about friendship in this 44-minute DVD. In the first tale, Strawberry travels to "Pearis," France, to meet her new friend, Crepes Suzette. Their budding friendship is threatened when their respective dogs, Pupcake and Eclaire, and Strawberry's gently wisecracking cat, Custard, become lost. In the second story, Strawberry Land is host to "The Great Friendship Festival," during which Strawberry learns that camaraderie's a cake with lots of different ingredients. From the "Piefel" Tower to the Candy Crystal Caves, World of Friends gives new meaning to the phrase "eye candy." It's a delectable adventure in good cheer, filled with uplifting testaments to the fun of meeting and making new friends, and the spirit of cooperation.
