    Gently challenging routine

    This tape is relatively gentle, but has an interesting variety of poses, including several that involve balancing. If you are going for a &quot burn&quot it is not for you, nor is it for an absolute beginner, but if you'd like an intermediate-ish routine with some challenges and that allows enough time to work to get into the poses, you'd probably like it. I always like the way I feel after I've completing this routine. I've been doing yoga for many years, but do not consider myself advanced. For a 55+ year old, I'm still pretty flexible.

    Thorough and enjoyable

    I found this workout to be very thorough and reasonably challenging. The balancing poses are tough, but you can modify for your own level. A few of the stretching poses are a little redundant, and there's a signature "hands on belly" move that seems unnecessary, but related to it being for women, I suppose.

    I tried several other videos and was surprised by how many of them I found too easy or gimmicky in some way. Several have a vast variety of options that seems over the top. I just wanted a good solid work out of about forty five minutes in length. This is fifty I think.

    Generally very enjoyable.

    Not for Beginners

    This video is not only very relaxing, but it's an extremely good workout as well!.
    I do have one complaint about this video though: the first DVD I bought was done by Yoga Zone and they do a very good job describing each pose as they go along. The descriptions are so good in fact that the first time using the video I found that I could really focus on my breathing and not the TV. With Yoga Conditioning for Women, it seemed to me that there really isn't much description. I found that I had to focus all my attention on the TV and I had a really hard time enjoying the workout. Having said that I do believe that after some time of practicing with this DVD, or maybe when I reach a higher level in yoga, this DVD will be much more enjoyable and I do plan to keep trying!
