About the Author

"Buck," as he is known on the air, was first licensed in the mid-sixties as a young teenager. Today, he holds an Amateur Extra Class Radio License.
Buck stands on the ARRL Honor Roll with 336 entities out of 340 confirmed and has earned the 8 Band DXCC award. He is also an active instructor and a Volunteer Examiner. He's been named Elmer (Trainer) of the Year by the Rappahannock Valley Amateur Radio Club three times.
