I enjoyed this book, it wasn't your standard book, has twists and turns, and was well written. I do recommend it to fans of mysteries and general fiction. Unlike the title, it isn't depressing at all, surprise yourself and give it a try!

Good title choice with a double meaning. I sensed the tension, knowing the dying dad had a plan, but the explosive ending was a shock! I recommend this author's other stories, as well, if you like "twisted" endings.

I read the book and I still don't know what the "shocking" twist at the end that everyone is talking about....don't want to give the story away but I figured the father would do what he did...no surpirse there. Also, what was that device that was under the bed....couldn't figure that out either.

I had to go back and read different passages a couple of times to see what was actually being implied...even now i THINK I know what happened but am still having doubts if i comprehended the story correctly.
