This book was good, but not good good, i'll give it three and a half out of 5 stars, yes it sends a good message but the plot was scattered like everything just happened to fast, it took me an hour and a half to read this book, if your a fast ready then get ready to spend your money on a bool you will only read in an hour or two (it's only 109 pages long, with really big font). It seemed like it was rushed through to me, like the author just wanted to hurry up and get over it. But i must say it was still a good book i just wish it was longer.

I didn't like this book at all. I mean, it had some good points, but the idea and format was scattered and i couldn't really follow it. It seems like she didn't revise or anything. She has a good idea, but she just needs to revise alot and do a better job. It's isn't awful, just not what i expected

At first I doubted I'd enjoy Dymond In The Rough, I'm not really big on reading. But since I opened Dymond In The Rough, I believe that reading has definitely grown on me. I absolutely loved Dymond and her play cousins, Kera and Porsha. I recommend this book to all young and curious teens like myself.

Unable to find many suitable books for teen youth, I found this one 'excellent!' for the teen youth. I bought this book for my 12 yr. old niece, fostering the love she has for reading and now she's impatient for me to buy her the next book in the series. I read the book to see what all the hoop-la was about, and I must say it's a very good book for teens. I commend the author for the positive energy she channels in this story; yet at the same time keeping it real for the young people. The story definitely meets them on their level.
