A superb book for engaged and married couples. The Chappells worked together in writing this book, practicing what they preach - Bryan humbly writes each chapter, and Kathy's comments are interspersed throughout, providing a full perspective. Chappell exposits Scripture and remains true to its import, regardless of personal preferences or cultural norms. His exposition of headship is particularly noteworthy - he defines the role Biblically as a responsibility and a privilege for the husband to exhibit the love of Christ to his family without manipulation or design. An excellent read to orient a Gospel-centered marriage. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
