    Morningjay

Pricks her ears at the sound of rusling leaves, not to far away, and picks up the scent of squirl. She then crouches unto hunting position.

    Rock hill

In the middle of the oak forests are a hill of rocks. During the day sunlight shines on it so it glows redish or orangeish. At night the moonlight shines on it so it glows silver

    Novel for every Filipinos

First novel written by Dr. Jose P. Rizal chronicles the typical lives of Filipinos during the last years of the Spanish rule. Not aware that within 4 years, Americans will replace Spain and will rule the Philippine Islands for more than 40 years. Its interesting to note that nothing has really changed (or progressed) in the Philippine mentality that Rizal so criticized in his two novels - including the sequel to this which is entitled "El Filibusterismo."
