Meet the Author

At 72, Alex's wife said 'Why not try writing?' Within 4 months he had six novellas on Smashwords and now, a couple of years later, 18. Obviously there was stuff lurking in there waiting to be said. Run on and on

I love the opening, but the story just stopped replaced by verbose description and unnatural dialogue that has bored me quickly. Too bad. It was a good premise.

    Birds

I simply could not get interested in this book. It was convoluted and confusing. I had trouble with the characters.

    Great short read!

If you are of a certain age, you'll enjoy the folks behind the crime and if you're a bit younger, you'll like the detectives. A great Robin Hood type of contemporary mystery. I read it in one sitting, would recommend it highly. Hope there are more additions to this series.
