Geology covers theseconcepts:
* Earth has layers
* Earth's crust is made of rock and soil
* soil is made when rocks break down and mix with decaying plants
* rocks have different properties
* rocks are formed in different ways
* the surface of the Earth is always changing
* the resources we use come from the Earth
* some rocks contain fossils that tell about life on Earth long ago.
A variety of engaging activities present the concepts in ways that students can understand. Each concept presented includes:

If you are a kindergarten teacher, this book is for you! It contains everything you need for engaging and attractive learning centers. My students LOVED having the decorative bags to carry to their work place and having everything available inside. They used them repeatedly! I loved the recording sheets they complete after they finish with the activity. Excellent time saver for busy teachers!
