    Build Your PM toolbox

This book is a "tale of two halves." The tone might be a bit too academic - especially since the book seems to be targeted to the masses. However, when you consider the true audience (someone like you) the language used throughout the first seven chapters is not a deterrent. Then consider the next seven chapters. Wow! Each one of those is a gem! While not necessarily appreciable by the novice project manager, somewhat seasoned practitioners will find the tools presented therein will serve as the foundation for a solid set of "PM tools" for individual project management success. The lucid explanation of those tools allow the authors to convincingly argue for the institutionalization of EVM to better monitor & control projects, improve executive stewardship of corporate resources and, to create collective project management success for the profession.
