In a distant future where Earth has just been liberated from an alien conqueror race, Faith Morenci, Earth's ambassador of alien affairs, must now deal with their benefactors who propose that the people of Earth pay off their war debt by entering into a business arrangement with them. Supported by her twenty-something twin children, Garth and Tana Morenci, Faith attempts to keep check on her alien "business partners" whose policies are usually driven more by greed and ambition than by the best interests of the people of Earth.
