Overview

Resurgence of A Lost World

In the near future the Jihad War nearly shatters the world, making Earth into a ravaged new planet. Out of the radioactive and biological cataclysm emerges the sole surviving member of America's black ops military, the nano-enhanced super-soldiers called - the Blood Berets.
Raised on a reservation among the traditional Native Americans and trained as a super-soldier by the Marines, Sergeant Kyle McQuinn leads his unit into the battlefields across the war-torn globe. After a decade of fighting, scarred in mind and body, McQuinn finally finds solace in the arms of a beautiful woman and settles down to create a family in his new home in Africa.
But when a past foe from the Jihad War comes seeking revenge upon McQuinn, Russian terrorist Gregori Krylenko destroys McQuinn's home and kidnaps his wife, Sonja, then the ex-Blood Beret must follow the savage winds of fate toward danger and his destiny.
Krylenko wants to take his revenge on McQuinn, cleverly surrounding himself with a pack of murderous mercenaries who, at his command, are ravaging Africa, on a quest to find an ancient deadly secret: a supernatural portal hidden away for countless millennia with treasures beyond belief on the other side. But recently, powerfully evil creatures have emerged from it, slaying all in their path.
When McQuinn stalks his enemies like a starving jungle cat, prowling the primal African landscape towards the much more deadly predator known as man, his desperate hunt will take him on an odyssey beyond imagining.
So begins McQuinn's quest to save his beloved, which, unknown to the ex-Blood Beret warrior, will eventually lead him to uncover a hidden secret that will take him from Earth to Perraxxus, and to a dark truth - if he lives that long.
And beyond Earth.
Where an ancient, lost heritage awaits him.
