Walked towards the water, his hands in his jeans pockets. He sat down on the sand, the water lapping at his toes. He laid back and put his hand underneath his head and lookedup at the stars. He imagined Ouranos up there, looking down on the Earth Mother. The stars seemed to form a face, a kind, gentle, face. Leo blinked, and the face disappeared. He felt the pull of sleep on his eyelids and closed his eyes.
Leo's Dream...
Leo was walking through a desert. Ahead of him was the Grand Canyon. He walked up to the edge and stopped. Below him was Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, hanging onto a small ledge. L reached his had down to help them, but he slipped and fell over the edge. As the ground rushed up to meet him, he felt the air beneath him holding him up, and suddenly he was floating on his stomach, his nose two inches from the canyon floor. "Try not to fall. Make the winds obey you, Jason." A voice behind Leo said. He turned in the air and saw Piper flooating next to him. "But I'm not-" Leo tried to say, but he was cut off as Piper kissed him. Suddenly, the dream changed. Leo was standing waist-deep in murky water. Hazel and Frank were next to him. "Do something, Percy!" They said. "Make the water obey you!" "But I'm Leo!" He said. They just looked at hin like he was crazy. Leo looked wn and saw he was wearing a camp half-blood t-shirt, jeans, and he was holding Riptide. He seemed taller, heavier, but his sense were awake. Leo tried to summon fire, but nothing happen. Then the dream changed again. Leo was Frank this time, holding Frank's-his - bow in squishy soil that seemed to almost be sucking him down. He felt a tug and yanked up, and Percy and Hazel tumbled out of the ground, coughing and covering in mud. "You guys okay?" Leo asked them. His voice seemed lower. "You saved us, Frank!" Percy said. Then Leo' dream went dark.
