easy to learn from, easy to read type!

This book is very basic and is very encouraging. Even if you have no experience, you can be playing nice songs with a little effort and no frustration. The name of each note is shown and it is simple to follow the chord diagrams. I have found other 'easy' books very frustrating. I am very happy I found this one!

    Me or the book??

I honestly don't know if I should blame myself or the book, but after three days, I give up. Some things seem to be 'assumed', such as correct fingering on the left hand...or maybe I just need more fingers. The same with going above the basic scale with the right hand...how should the fingers be adjusted? Maybe I'm hopeless, maybe it's the book. Don't know, but disappointed and frustrated.
