I've read a few appetizer recipe books before and this has to be one of the most unique. I've never seen Tofu Shapes with Hummus before.. or Zesty Marinated Steak with Wasabi Sauce on Rice crackers, to name but a couple. All of them are truly special!
Love that the table of contents is sectioned by Meat and Vegetarian with calorie ranges within each. Each recipe also contains per serving calories and complete nutritional information, which makes this book truly deserve the "low-calorie" title. Very nicely put together and easy to read. Highly recommended.
It's hard to believe that these recipes are low calorie, because they are so delicious.
This book is so well designed with a short description by each recipe in the table of contents. Every recipe is easy to follow and at the end has a nutrition guide. The way the table of contents is laid out with different calorie amounts is wonderful for someone who (and who doesn't?) counts calories.

Nutritional information is included for the recipes, which I greatly appreciate. I thought it very clever that she groups recipes by calories per serving. I also liked that there were both omnivorous and vegetarian recipes - and a recipe for gluten-free breadsticks.
