Overview

The Boudreaux Series. Sexy. Intriguing. Easy.

Simon Danbury, an internationally sought after motivational speaker, helps women from all walks of life with love, self-esteem, dating and career building skills. Handsome, witty and wealthy, Simon seemingly has everything a man could want.

But appearances can be deceiving.

While Simon may have the answers for millions of women all over the world, when it comes to his own love life, he's a giant, sexy mess. Divorced, and convinced that he'll never love again, the very last thing he expects is one Charly Boudreaux.

Charly doesn't want to be at this seminar in the middle of nowhere, but her sister made her go. She's the one who has her life together. Great career, amazing family, nice home, and loyal friends. So what if she doesn't have a man? She doesn't need one. If she's learned anything in her almost thirty years, it's that men are more trouble than they're worth.

And they have a nasty habit of breaking your heart into a million tiny pieces.

So she'll sit through all of Simon's touchy feely crap and go home and get on with her life. Except Simon isn't really spouting crap, and when he smiles at her, the butterflies are ridiculous.

Never mixing business with pleasure, Simon finds Charly, a bright spot in a universe that's been dark for too long. But will he be able to resist her?

And why would he want to?

A tried and true Kristen Proby book. It was a quick read with everything I have known to expect and need from her books. I don't mean this harshly, but I wish her female leads weren't the same in every book. The same dialogs, the same "strong" woman, the same "sassines". Don't get me wrong Proby is a define one click for me and I have read everything she has published, but I do keep hoping to get something different from all the other books.

## MAGNIFICENT. Man, did I enjoy the crap out of this book. This entire series has been stellar. Unlike another reviewer, I LOVE that Ms. Proby's heroines are all strong, capable, sassy, beautiful women. Nothing I detest more than a needy doormat of a woman. Especially when they are described as plump or plain. Bleh. It's fiction and I like my heroines beautiful. And thank you for adding so much humor into this story. It was so fun and definitely sexy. The witty banter was phenomenal. It made me smile throughout and I love that. Plus....NO INSTANT FORGIVENESS. Yay, me. And kudos to whoever shot that cover, YOWZA. Can't wait for Beau's story.

Charly and Simon are wonderful together! Between Simon's British phrases of adoration, and Charly's sassy responses...another swoon-worthy story from Kristen Proby. Already looking forward to the next.

This is the best of the books yet. The others were great but this just struck such a basic chord--trust.Charly and Simon have quite a story to tell as well as quite a lesson to teach . Please keep the books coming g.

Each book in the Boudreaux Series gets better and better! EASY KISSES made me sigh, laugh out loud, fan myself and cry. Charly and Simon are such a lovely couple. Both not looking for the other, but when they meet Charly feels flutters and Simon just feels something for the first time in too long. I loved watching them find their way. Loved watching them "adjust their sails" to figure out how to trust in and allow themselves to love the other. Loved more the way the Boudreaux family is always there for each other, and so often sees what the other cant see. Kristen Proby just knows how to create wonderful characters and I can't wait for Beau & Mallory's story next! Here are a few of my favorite moments: "I've worked for a long time not to give a f&ck." "But you give a f&ck." It's a whisper. "I give a f&ck," he replies softly. "And I don't know what to do about that." "I like it when you're sassy." "Good, because I'm always sassy, darlin'. I have a degree in sass." "It wasn't until she met you that she realized that love can be a slow burn, starting low and building into something wild and passionate." "It's important to forgive darlin'. Doesn't mean you have to forget. If you forget, you didn't learn anything."

Having read another book in this series, I was sure I would enjoy this one, too. It's a sexy mix of hot chemistry and difficult situations that has you turning pages to find out how they will get themselves out of this or if they will. This author does a good job of creating a great big cast of characters that support and are interwoven into each others stories. I recognized a few from the previous book I had read but it isn't necessary to know them all. Charly's family is just so wonderful that they are a joy to be around. I loved how protective they were of her; how they took Simon out back to talk to him; and how Simon listened but didn't change a thing. Which leads me to Simon. I really enjoyed his British accent, his manners and his yummy passion. He tends to push Charly up against a door and then pamper her with a bath afterwards. Very enjoyable. While he's the go to guy if you need to work through your trust issues, he isn't the best at his own love life. Charm, knowledge and confidence have him leading seminars that help and rescue women but he's stayed away from most women personally since his divorce. I liked that he had his own weakness despite being able to professionally help others. It's kinda of like me struggling through homework, though I'm a teacher. It happens. I was glad Charly was never a push over and made Simon pay his dues. He had some to pay too. And I was glad that Charly had to work through her own issues. I usually enjoy stories better if both characters aren't perfect. It's more real. This is a charming story with a few laughs and side of sexy times.

4.5 Swoony Stars! “It wasn’t until she met you that she realized that love can be a slow burn, starting low and building into something wild and passionate.” “When you love someone you should expect everything.” “I need you, Charly, in the most elemental, basic ways. I can’t see myself ever without you.” Kristen Proby has done it again. Just when I think I couldn’t enjoy another series or book more, she goes and writes something like this. Now, I’m kinda new to the Bouderaux Series, but that is something I am going to correct very soon. After reading Easy Kisses, I can not wait to get my hands on the other books in this series and just devour them. Easy Kisses is a fantastic read, from start to finish. In true Kristen Proby fashion, this story is filled with lots of heart and lots of good angst. From the moment you pick up Easy Kisses, you are pulled into the story. There is just something about Charly and Simon that makes you want to get to know them more. The connection these two share is instant and just so easy. You knew that great things could come from them being together, they just had to give into to their feelings and take a chance on love. However, the road to HEA wasn’t an easy one for them. Both Simon and Charly had a lot to learn and had some issues to get past. But, the connection that they shared was so strong. You knew the two of them could get past just about anything. They had the kind of love that is so worth fighting for. Easy Kisses gave me everything that I could want and love in a Kristen Proby novel. The characters are a lot of fun and easy to relate to. You can’t help but want to get to know all of them. There is just the right amount of angst, romance and drama. This story will have you laughing one minute and feeling like your heart has been ripped out of your chest the next. And of course, this wouldn’t be a Kristen Proby novel without some series sexy good times and a hot alpha male. Easy Kisses was a fabulous read and is perfect for summer reading. I definitely recommend checking this one out.

It’s becoming too much like habit to say, “I think this is my favorite book of the series,” every time, but I can’t seem to help myself. Easy Kisses is book number four in the Boudreaux series by Kristen Proby. There seems to be a pattern developing here. I’m really liking the “sister journeys” in this series. Gabby’s was touching and heart melting, and I just have a feeling Savannah’s is going to be a poignant tear-jerker given what we know she’s been through. I was really looking forward to Charly’s story though. She’s the sister who seems to have it all together. She’s got spunk, and that happy, carefree personality. Charly is tenacious, with an I-am-woman-hear-me-roar obstinacy about her. I couldn’t wait to see her in action, and Charly did not disappoint. When Charly lets her sister, Savannah, talk her into attending a Lift seminar with the promise of a much-needed two week “vacation” in Montana, she could have never predicted how life-changing her decision would be. The last thing Charly needed was to be in a room with a bunch of desperate woman searching for their self-worth. Charly has confidence in spades, but she also has an unrelenting affection for her well-meaning sister. Of course, the time away does have a certain appeal to it. What apparently also has appeal (or maybe I should say “who”) is Simon Danbury. He’s the self-help guru who leads the Lift seminars. Simon is tall – very tall (don’t you just love that?) – with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. Gorgeous doesn’t quite cover it really. Throw in his sexy British accent, and it’s no wonder there’s a waiting list for women to get into his seminars and retreats. In addition to his painfully sexy good looks, Simon also has a strong work ethic, but damn if that isn’t tested the minute he lays eyes on Charly Boudreaux. Kristen Proby is the queen of the sweet romance. In Easy Kisses, though, she’s taken romance to a deeper level with these characters. Simon’s lectures force Charly to acknowledge some troubling realities about her view on love and relationships. Apparently, however, Charly isn’t the only one who’s struggling in that department. Simon is forced to face some ghosts that, until now, he’d convince himself had already been laid to rest, but his feelings for Charly challenge him to reevaluate things he thought he’d dealt with years ago. Easy Kisses is a heartrending look at love and hurt, forgiveness and healing. But don’t worry, the author manages to work in what every Kristen Proby fan has come to expect: the amusing banter with the girls, and the witty repartee between siblings. The playful teasing is refreshing. And can I just say, there’s something… I don’t know… hot about protective alpha brothers who don’t hesitate to communicate with their fists when it comes to defending their sisters’ honor. You gotta love the Boudreaux clan! Five easy stars!
