Ouch! Gout is a painful disease. In fact, some liken the pain of gout to childbirth. There are medications that can treat this condition, but diet plays an important role in healing gout as well. Plus, gout medications have side effects, and not everyone can tolerate them. That's why two physicians wrote this book - to show you what to eat and not eat to prevent gout attacks. We've found by treating numerous patients with gout that diet does make a difference. Eating to prevent gout will also help you look and feel better too.

I was educated so I can help myself with diet foods that heal. For example, eat the whole fruit not the juice and why cherries are good for you. Easy to read, not wordy or above your head science. Just simple directions that will make you well and many of my questions were answered. I hope it will help you as well.
Book is short but gives quick food lists.
Very informative answered a l ot of questions for me.
It's nice to know that there are other ways to prevent painful gout attacks besides taking medication. The lifestyle changes these doctors are proposing seem reasonable and quite doable. Easy to read and follow.
