A Perfect Book For Daughters Of All Ages!

A little wisdom and a lasting promise!

This is really a cute little 3 minute read full of inspiration from a mom to her daughter.

I first read this book imagining the words coming from my mom who passed away a couple of years ago and they rung true to the way she raised me.

Then I read it again as the words going from me to my daughters and realized that while each sentiment is true in my heart my actions sometimes may not measure up and I have to work on that.

My daughters have a role that I hope most daughters don't have to have in their lives as early as my daughters have had. Helping to care for a mother who being so dependent on others early in their lives has put them in some situations I hope others never have. Picking me up when I fall, personal care that is sometimes impossible due to having only one functioning hand, driving me everywhere, plus so much more. They always assure me it is no problem but to me sometimes the roles of parent and child seem in reverse. Them taking me to the doctor or to get a haircut, me handing them a list and sending them shopping, so many things. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and four fabulous children, two extraordinary sons and two phenomenal daughters who I shared this inspirational book with.

This book is perfect for daughters of all ages. A book to be treasured, read and read again several times during their lifetime. The illustrations are simple and adorable. If your daughter is learning to read, hitting a milestone of 10, 13, or 16, graduating from high school or college, getting married or starting a family of her own, this book is the perfect little addition for a mom to share with her daughter. It will find a place on her keeper shelf forever. A book she can pick up when she's feeling low and know that her mother loves her whether they are in the same house, miles away from each other, or even if her mom is in heaven. Her mom is always there in her heart. This book is a true celebration of a mom's love for her daughter.

Cheryl Karpen has written a variety of Eat Your Peas books.

    Loved it!!

This is probably the most beautiful, sweet and personally meaningful books I've read this year. If you have a daughter of any age then it can really invoke some emotion in you as this is a lovely take on life simply meant for your daughter. It has beautiful messages and words of wisdom for her to cherish on her journey of life. It has a promise(s) from a mom to a daughter that are encouraging. This could be a nice little keepsake and gift.

A Wonderful Encouragement for Females of All Ages

It's bright, colorful, girly and really draws your eye to it when you see it in person.

Like the summary said, it's a book of affirmations for a person's daughter. They are uplifting, positive and touching.

Surprise! You, the reader, are the character. The narrator is speaking to you as you read.

When I first saw this book, (sent to me from the great people at BookSneeze) I thought it would be for little girls below the age of 7 or 8. However, when I started reading it, I could picture my own mother giving this book to me ... and I'm over 30! I loved this book. I like that it's part of a series. I like that it's positive and uplifting. It made me say "Aawww..." a few times while reading ... and it really is a 3-minute book (unless you read fast). I would recommend this book to all the mothers, aunts, grandmothers, etc. to give to their special girl family member.

    Encouragement For Daughters

"Eat Your Peas Daughter" by Cheryl Karpen offers the sentiments of a mother's heart to her daughter. It is a quick read delivering advice, encouragement, love, hope and a promise to those precious girls in our lives.

This brightly colored and sweetly illustrated book makes a perfect gift from a mom to her daughter. Each page offers a short but encouraging message to our girls.

Cheryl Karpen makes it clear from the beginning of this book that our children are of great value when she shares this verse:

    Psalm 127:3
    Children are a gift from the LORD;
they are a reward from him.

Each page reinforces the sentiment to our daughters that they are precious gifts.

I love this book so much I'm planning to pick up another copy so I can give one to each of my girls. This book would make a lovely keepsake and a treasured heirloom that could be passed down from mother to daughter through the generations.

Great book for moms to give to older daughters.

One of my favorite verses in this book is, "Life is filled with choices. Choose carefully. Always pray for, wait for, work for, reach for, what will make you feel alive and complete in life." I feel like this verse sums up what I would like my daughter to know in life.

This is a really good book, but for older kids. We read it to my 4 year old daughter, and she really loved the whimsical artwork... but it is pretty much all words so it was kind of above her.

I love how eye catching the cover is and the feel of the book is great. I am not sure what the book is made of, but the feel is just wonderful... really gets your senses going.
