My family has found that eating more alkaline food to balance the meat and other acidic food we eat has done wonders for our health and digestive systems. I bought this book hoping to use some of the recipes. The first part of the book giving background info on eating alkaline foods was good. However, I could only find one recipe in the book I would actually try. Everything else require exotic ingredients or didn't sound very good. I ended up returning the book.
