Love the personal profiles of PowerSellers! This book helped me picture myself with money. It is what it says: ¿Success Chronicles.¿ It profiles real people who have been super successful using specific goal-setting strategies with their eBay businesses. Top sellers explain how they make money on the site, and they all give useful advice tips. Jennifer Guenther, on pg 223, urges people new to the business to sell what they know. She says: ¿Look to your own interests and area of expertise to determine what your product line should be on eBay. You¿ll be a more trustworthy seller if you can offer food, sound advice¿¿ Take my advice: Buy the book. Learn from the experiences of real-life people. As you read it, have a notebook handy. If you¿re like me, lots of ideas for your own successful business will come to you while you read.

I like the title and was expecting some incisive stuff but was turned off by the references to eBay's founder and that pez story (not again!) and other material that to me was a waste of perfectly good trees. Honestly, I learned very little that was new from this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

¿The eBay Success Chronicles¿ is a collection of interviews with 70 powersellers on eBay. The author breaks each interview down to the information that is most beneficial to the reader. Each interview offers tips on how to maximize your monetary gains on anything you sell through eBay auctions. I really liked reading about what features in the eBay listings really worked or didn¿t work for the seller. The entire time I was reading the book I was making a list of what items around my house were sellable. I can¿t wait to sell my first item on eBay! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to sell items on Internet auction sites. The tips are wonderful but my biggest motivation was seeing how much success normal people like me can have while selling merchandise on eBay.Was this review helpful? Well, now I know that eBay is more than an online site where you can dump grandma¿s ugly lamp and make a few bucks in the process. This is a complete and comprehensive guide written in an easy, conversational style. The history and evolution of eBay is fascinating. The author has conducted extensive interviews with the top PowerSellers, and these discussions provide insight into the path to eBay success. Each interview is described in a similar format. This allows the reader to absorb differing opinions and unique viewpoints about the same topics, such as return policies, non payment procedures, and shipping costs. eBay lingo is deciphered and explained, so a beginner can learn about subjects such as drop shipping, turbo lister, and trading assistants. I recommend this manual for anyone who is looking to become involved in the eBay community. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Thanks Angela, We just got through reading the advance copy you sent. An enormous amount of work went into this volume and it shows! I'm not sure what you will do for an encore. We were so pleased to be a part of it and to be able to share what we have learned as eBay PowerSellers. I'm ordering several for gifts to future eBayers in my life. Thanks again, Erin Snyder DixonWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
