    Highly Recommended

There is no better time than now for a user-friendly and comprehensive source on how to produce an online book. To publish in the traditional manner can an exhausting, time consuming endeavor, and often, one finds their work greatly edited before deemed acceptable for publication. Besides, even well known authors are finding electronic publishing both painless and financially rewarding. Bob Sheldon, an experienced technical and fiction writer, proves himself to be a gentle and wise teacher for those of us who would love to see our work in print and prefer doing it ourselves. EBook Now is well organized and the language is clear. Even computer simpletons, like myself, can follow Sheldon's step by step directions. We are led through the process of styling and formatting our book, how to add images and make an attractive cover. We learn how to obtain an ISBN number and how to manage our text once we have completed the process. The proper technique for both Amazon and Smashword is provided. One element I found quite helpful were the computer screen views. This allowed me to see what to do on my own computer as I followed the instructions. With Sheldon's help, creating an attractive and readable electronic book is simple, and even fun. As so well stated in EBook Now, ".you can spend less time on the publishing process and more time writing quality books." And isn't this the goal we are all striving for?

    Clear and Simple

This is a great guide for anyone getting started publishing ebooks. The step-by-step instructions progress logically. They're clear and accessible (even to someone like me who's somewhat technologically challenged). The author strategically uses figures to illustrate key points. He addresses differences between Amazon and Smashwords so the reader can avoid frustrating pitfalls when publishing to both sites. I had no idea the process could be simplified and streamlined like this. Highly recommended.
