The information is presented by an international panel of physicians well versed in the application of echocardiography in cardiac surgery.

The concise though complete presentation of this potentially confusing information cannot be overstated for this textbook. The numerous excellent illustrations complement the text and prove quite useful in helping visualize the graphic elements of echocardiography.
