Editorial Reviews

The Nocturnal Library - Maja Colak
"Every time I get my hands on a Demon Squad book, it feels a lot like Christmas. Admittedly, it's a dirty Christmas, full of drunken groping and innapropriate comments, but it's Christmas nevertheless. It is not often that urban fantasy is written and delivered with such boldness and abandon--Tim Marquitz does not only overstep the lines of good taste, he completely ignores them and then he laughs in your shocked face. And I love it."
Fantasy Book Review - Ryan Lawler
...this is very much a Demon Squad book with all the charm, humour, and sex you come to expect from the series."
Fantasy Book Critic - Mihir Wanchoo
"This is another great entry into the Demon Squad series, if you haven't started it yet then you should definitely do so. This is one of those series that has almost been under most readers radar. Tim Marquitz continues his excellent run and makes this book another standout volume."

    TOO MUCH!!!

I have enjoyed this series immensely. The world building, the plot, the characters, the magic, the action are all well done. My only complaint--this book there was TOO much going on. Frank always has obstacles and antagonists in his way--I get that and that's part of the draw and the suspense of the story. There were so many in this book that it fell out of the fantasy realm and into the unbelieveable. I spent a lot of time reading this book while saying "REALLY???". It is difficult to understand how all of these issues will be solved especially with how many seemingly unsurmountable foes there are. And now there us the DSI added to the mix. Enough!!! I will probably get the next in the series to see what happens but I'm not really looking forward to reading the next book like I have been in the past.
