A call to action for all recyclers, recrafters and restylers

I just love this book! Not only for the stellar photography, coherent and precise writing and glorious projects BUT especially for how very beautifully this fine author has transformed our every day trash. I'm totally intrigued by that pendant lamp made from milk jugs. I can't wait to add its soft glow to my home. The old recycled suitcase is another great idea and has so many outstanding incarnations -- ah, those memories. Give Susan Wasinger at least five stars and a huge salute from all recyclers for her timely and artful book.

    The perfect book right now

This book is full of really smart, really stylish ideas for turning trash into stuff you really want in your home. The ideas are original and clever, and just incredibly beautiful. I have made the painted vases on the cover and they were easy and fun to do. Next I'm making the folding screen made from those yucky plastic six-pack holders. Good fun and good for the earth. I liked this book so much, I gave a copy to my boss.
