    Low-tech Planted Aquarium Ecology Explained

    If you would like to have a successful, low maintenance, planted fresh water aquarium, this book will provide a solid foundation from which to begin. The method used is based on science. It provides explanations for how various ecological systems work both in nature and a closed system (the aquarium), such as: where CO2 comes from in nature and how this process can be established and maintained in an aquarium. The book also includes some surprises, for example - why frequent water changes are unnecessary, and why the amount of fish food supplied can be related to tank volume.
