    I Also Recommend:

A great book for kids (and adults!) who would like an easy way to learn to draw

I got this book for my soon-to-be first grader because her teacher introduced the kids to several Ed Emberley drawing books to the kids in kindergarten.

Mr. Emberley shows readers how, with seven simple shapes, they can easily draw many, many different character faces. The step-by-step instructions do not require the artist to be able to read words and they are very easy to follow. In this edition, he shows artists how to draw various faces of people and animals.

I feel this book is a great reference and positive addition to my six year old's library and I would definitely recommend it to other shoppers.

The funnest cartoon book for beginners!

This book is great for children who love to draw or need some simple guidance for success in their cartoon drawing. This book shows how one can take any shape and make it into a face or body. It gives step by step examples that show how one can create different emotions for a cartoon figure. This book was one of my favorites as a kid. I learned a lot from it and it helped me to be more creative in my own drawing.
