I saw the first movie and fell in love with the story and the music. I thought the second movie would be lame like most of them are but this one surprised me. Not only was the story good, the music was just as good as the first one. John Cafferty and his band do a bang up job and I just love "Tunes" Antunes the sax player in the actual band.

I love John Cafferty's voice. I watched Eddie and The Cruiser's about 12 years ago and just rewatched it tonight,(May 12, 2004) and loved it just as much as the first time i saw it, his voice sends chills up my spine.

if you've seen eddie 1, you know the music is great. if you've seen eddie 2, you know the music just got better. while #1 had some great music (on the dark side and season in hell), #2 showed the beaver brown band could give tons of intensity to their music. listening to the n.y.c song reminds you of all the dreams you've ever had.

The soundtrack to the sequel for Eddie & the Cruisers follows the basic blueprint of John Cafferty's songs for the first film -- they're all high-energy, pounding three-chord rock & roll, sounding a bit like Bruce Springsteen or Bob Seger. There may not be a song as good as "The Dark Side," but the music is still enjoyable for hardcore fans of the original.
