What can I say other then this book rocked my socks off! I loved it. It is a type of book that once you start you can not put down. It grabs you and will not let you. As soon as you start reading, you fall in Eden fighting against the Fallen.
I adore this cover. I think it matches the book very well. After reading the first chapters I turned back to the cover thinking, yeah this is gonna be good. And I was right. As you begin this story, the reader is immerse into a world like no other, a world filled with survivors and plague that is killing mankind fast. As the reader, I really fell into the story line cause of the great elements describes in the story. Ms. Taylor's writing was excellent in describing the world to the reader and easy to read. I loved reading about the different characters life and how they live now.
The story line of the book is great. I had a fun time diving into the world and learning everything about it. The culture, the way the earth have change, the cities. Even the people in the book is great. One thing I love about reading is being able to feel the emotions of the characters. Ms. Taylor wrote the book so that the reader was right there, in every waking moment. I loved it. I felt excitement, happiness, anger, hurt, betrayal and most of all love.
I am a sucker for romance so when the opportunity presented itself in the book I was giddy I love the love interest in this book cause it was NOT a love triangle! Thank you God! I mean sometimes they work but I love how in this book Eve made her decision. There was no going back, confused, messed up girl.
Last is Eve. As the main character in this book, you fall in love with the girl. She is strong, confident, and oh no you didn't mess with me! She is like no other girl taking charge of what needed to be done. I really enjoyed watching her grow and learn many new things. She is my type of gal!
Eden is a great book about the earth ending timing destruction. There was loads of action, fighting, and death. There is new discoveries, secret revealed, and secrets made. I would love to see this book as a movie. I know it would be awesome!

I've never really been much for Sci-Fi, but this is so much more! Welcome to 28 days meets the Terminator with a love story thrown in, and you have a book you'll be looking for in the theaters!

With no knowledge of its contents or even what it was about, I loved the cover, and so I just started reading. Eden was really, really good. Lost in its first pages, I was captured by this disastrous world of The Fallen and of survival. I found myself thoroughly annoyed with Eve until nearly the end-but before you go thinking how much of a bad thing that could be, let me stress how refreshing this detail was. Oh, how Eve annoyed me. And oh, how brilliant writing it was that tied that annoyance in with the story. That's right. Brilliant writing. Taylor took on the task of becoming this emotionless, confused, girl, really-in the end that's what she was, a girl-and she did it well. So well that I could have an inner debate with myself as to whether or not Eve is a character or a real person. And then this real girl grows, she learns and she starts to find herself, breaking past the barrier of annoying and she makes you fall in love with her. Did I mention that it took me all about five seconds to fall head over heels for Avian? West, not so much. But, hey. There's a "side" to every story, right? The world of Eden was descriptive enough to imagine, but not overdone so that it took away from Eve's story. Its suspense seriously keeps you on the edge of your seat, while its romance is so intense that you can barely stand it. But you want to stand it, if only for the minutes to come so that you get to find out what happens next. And next, and next, and next. Couldn't put it down. Love love loved it.

Eden is yet another great example of Ms. Taylor's talent with taking words and crafting a wonderful story. Her writing seems different in this than in her other series, but in a good way. I like this distinction, actually. She has given the main character, Eve, an extremely relatable voice, one that is so "human". The other characters all have unique voices and personalities, as well, and although aren't as fully fleshed out as others, I enjoyed each and every one of them.
All in all, Eden is a great addition to the young adult dystopian genre. It's action-packed, dramatic (in all the right ways), romantic, and intense. It reminded me a little bit of Stephenie Meyer's The Host-and that is a compliment as I adore Ms. Meyer. Don't hesitate picking up a copy of Eden, as well as the Fall of Angel Series!

I am unusually picky about my books, but this was one best ever. It was well written with a fast pace, and an interesting theme. Eve is perfect -completely loved it.

This book tells the story of Eve and a group of humans struggling to survive in the chaos of a technological outbreak. The human race has been plagued by an Infection of technology, turning almost everyone into The Fallen--cybernetic monsters hell-bent on spreading their "disease".
From the very beginning, Eve is presented as strong, independent and loyal. But as the pages progress (and they do oh-so-well), we learn things about Eve that changes the reader's perception of her (in a good way). I'm not going to give anything away here for the sake of those who have yet to read it, but know that Eve is a brilliantly written character who struggles with the same issues all of us do...even in the midst of unimaginable circumstances. One of the issues she faces? Choosing between Avian and West.
Oh yes, Avian and West. Two guys who love Eve more than anything. One saved her, one is the only connection to her past. Both fill her heart and help her discover things about herself she never knew. Of course there is a love triangle (it's YA!), but please don't let that deter you (I know some people despise them, but I happen to enjoy the triangle!). This one is so touching and realistic that you can't help but feel for both guys and Eve all at once. Which will she choose? The caring, protective Avian, or the vibrant, loyal West? You'll have to read it to find out.
As I said at the beginning of this review, EDEN is a self-published title by a superbly talented author. But in my opinion, it ranks right up there with other traditionally published YA dystopians like Divergent with it's unique, clever plot, strong female heroine, and swoon-worthy guys--only proving once again that the publishing world is a-changin'. I'm not going to give anything away, but I am beyond happy to give EDEN 4 stars, and I urge you all to order a copy and join Eve in her fight against The Fallen!

I wasnt so sure about buying this book because of mixed reviews, but after reading the free sample I just could not stop reading it!! The romance between Eve and Avain and Eve and West was so sweet. Also the storyline was very unique with faint hints of the Hunger Games and the FOX TV show Terra Nova. Overall this is a great 4 star YA dystopian novel!!!

I really liked this book. It was action packed and had a great story line. I kept switching back and forth between which guy I wanted her to end up with. But in the end I was extremely happy with her choose. I would love to see a sequel to this book but it stand well on it's own even if there isn't a sequel. It kinda reminded me of a mix between The Host and The Hunger Games. Overall a very good book. Read it!

i wasn't anticipating much from a 99 cent book, but aside from a few editing errors and a touch of timeline inconsistency i really liked this book. in fact, it is one of my recent favorites.

Overview
Eden has been optioned by Black Forest Film Group (Mark Morgan ("Twilight Saga"), Kami Garcia ("Beautiful Creatures"), Brett Hudson ("Cloud 9"), and Eric T. Thompson ("Rites of Spring")) for a major motion picture.Eve knew the stories of the Fall, of a time before she wandered into the colony of Eden, unable to recall anything but her name. She’s seen the aftermath of the technology that infused human DNA with cybernetic matter, able to grow new organs and limbs, how it evolved out of control. The machine took over and the soul vanished. A world quickly losing its humanity isn’t ...
