Meet the Author

Edgar Rice Burroughs (September 1, 1875 – March 19, 1950) a great American pulp writer was made famous for his creation of the jungle hero Tarzan and the heroic Mars adventurer John Carter. However, the prolific and gifted Burroughs was also a master of fantasy and westerns as well. His work is noted for their strong plot, character and story structures, which made them impossible to put down until finished and impossible to forget.

    Great classics and more

    I hadn't read any of these Burrough sci-fi novels, so for $1 I thought why not.

    Pleasantly surprised. They kept my attention and more. The characters captivated me as did the plots and premises. Admittedly, I couldn't stop thinking that this was the same guy who created Tarzan, but his sci-fi is more than first rate. I plan to read more of his sci-fi work.
